PURE International is an independent sales and marketing company specialising in high-end international property.
The company had recognized the majority of it's leads came from search engine traffic. Organic traffic was weighted more toward branded keywords, and the company was making sole attempt to improve search traffic by investing in Google Adwords Pay Per Click. The brief was to increase traffic resulting from organic non-branded search engine keywords, thus resulting in reduced spend on PPC
Having audited the site, first and foremost the obvious hurt point was the site had been built entirely in Flash. The Flash build had included a design refresh and was a recent costly investment by the company's marketing department. Therefore, the existing Flash build had to remain and my goal was to create a workaround to ensure content can successfully compete within top Search Engine Ranking Pages.
The solution was to integrate a new HTML version of the site with the existing back-end that consisted of a content management system, and XML delivery of content from a large database. I'd coded the HTML version of the site within a PHP framework and further streamlined code using CSS. Focus was placed on key content pages and features that were crucial for matching popular and related search engine keyword terms.
The relationship with Pure included ongoing monthly search engine marketing to link key external pages to the new HTML pages, and management of cost per click advertising (resulting into a custom build of a PPC analysis tool http://www.flickbucket.com/index.php/photo/169026/). Additional services included bulk email sends http://www.flickbucket.com/index.php/thumbs/252-email.tool/, custom tracking and improved configuration of their web analytics suite to measure marketing and ROI success.
The relationship with Pure was via their media buying and planning agency.
